Job summary

Celina Insurance Group is seeking a Remote Litigation Attorney based in Ohio or Indiana to manage all aspects of insurance-related litigation. You will defend policyholders, assert company interests, and evaluate settlements, participating in trials, arbitrations, and mediations.

You must be admitted and in good standing with OH and/or IN bars; a strong background in insurance defense and evidence-based discovery is essential.

Qualifications

• Must be admitted practicing law in OH and IN or willing to reciprocity.
• Licenses to practice before boards, state and federal courts preferred.
• Must reside in OH or IN.
• Property & Casualty Insurance experience preferred.
• Three to five years of law practice preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate cases for settlement with senior claims leadership.
• Prepare timely responses to complaints and pleadings.
• Attend pretrial hearings, trials, and settlement conferences.
• Conduct depositions and manage discovery processes.
• Provide recommendations for additional claim investigations.
• Keep the claims department informed of relevant case law.
• Assist in building our Alternative Dispute Resolution program.
• Maintain a professional demeanor at all times.
