Jobot, a mid-sized Indianapolis law firm, seeks a Litigation Attorney to defend general liability matters in a hybrid remote role with 2 days on site per week. The position offers a substantial salary range ($120k–$170k) plus bonus, along with comprehensive benefits and a path for rapid business development.

Primary responsibilities include handling all phases of litigation from inception to resolution, advising insurers and clients on strategy, and collaborating with partners to manage budgets

Qualifications

• Defend a varied caseload of general liability insurance defense matters.
• Handle all phases of litigation from inception through resolution — pleadings, written discovery, depositions, motion practice, mediations, arbitrations, and trial preparation.
• Evaluate liability, damages, and exposure and provide strategic guidance to insurance carriers and insured clients on case strategy, settlement, and resolution.
• Work closely with partners and clients to deliver efficient, cost-effective defense strategies consistent with carrier guidelines and litigation budgets.
