Job summary

Kaplan, Inc. is seeking an Insurance Instructor for San Antonio, TX (in person) to deliver engaging insurance instruction and mentor adult learners using LMS tools.

You will act as an industry expert and Kaplan ambassador for clients and students, tailoring your approach to individual learning styles. The role requires 3+ years in the insurance industry, proficiency with virtual classroom tools, and the ability to travel to onsite locations.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of professional experience in the insurance industry (P&C, personal lines, or adjuster).
• Proficiency with LMS platforms and virtual classroom tools, including Zoom/MS Teams/Google Meet and digital whiteboards.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to adapt to new teaching methods.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate excellent teaching skills and engage students through virtual classroom instruction.
• Serve as an industry expert and Kaplan brand ambassador for clients and students.
• Mentor and drive student success by tailoring teaching to individual learning styles.
• Deliver instruction based on pre-prepared lesson plans and syllabi.
• Communicate with product line management and operations about scheduling changes, curriculum updates, and class assignments.
• Travel to onsite teaching locations as required.
