Job summary

Family Care Center is seeking an Insurance Follow-Up Representative to collect payments on outstanding claims and verify patient eligibility for coverage. This remote role requires attention to detail and the ability to work independently across multiple clinics in the US.

You will submit and resubmit claims, follow up with payers, take calls from patients and providers, and resolve account issues to ensure timely reimbursement while upholding our commitment to quality care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree preferred.
• Two years clerical experience in a health care setting required.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite required.

Responsibilities

• Submit and resubmit claims accurately and timely.
• Follow up with payers to resolve questions and resubmissions.
• Answer incoming calls from internal and external customers and take payments.
• Resolve issues related to patient accounts and eligibility.
