Branch Financial, LLC is a remote-first company seeking a Financial Reporting Manager to ensure accurate, audit-ready financial reporting. You will collaborate with Finance, Compliance, Legal, and Insurance to maintain data reliability and regulatory alignment, including NAIC filings and RBC tools.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s in Accounting with 8+ years in insurance finance, and have strong knowledge of GAAP, statutory reporting, and internal controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in property & casualty insurance finance or accounting, preferably GAAP/statutory reporting.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, controls, and insurance accounting.

Responsibilities

• Analyze month-over-month changes in financial outcomes for leadership clarity.
• Coordinate with Data Office to ensure data availability for reporting.
• Develop audit-ready documentation for key financial processes and controls.
• Prepare Statutory financial statements, NAIC filings, RBC analysis, and RBC forecasting tools.
• Create internal control testing framework supporting growing audit function.
• Review cash handling processes and reconciliation procedures.
• Collaborate with Insurance and Compliance on data/regulatory requests.
• Contribute to special projects enhancing financial transparency and compliance.
