A leading nationwide insurance carrier seeks a skilled Insurance Defense Trial Attorney with proven trial experience in insurance defense litigation. Must have strong litigation skills, thorough knowledge of California laws, and excellent trial advocacy.

Key Responsibilities

• Represent the company in insurance defense litigation, including trials, hearings, depositions, and motions.
• Develop and implement defense strategies for favorable outcomes.
• Handle complex cases involving personal injury, property damage, and other claims.
• Collaborate with claims professionals, insureds, and experts on legal strategies.
• Manage trial preparation, discovery, legal research, and drafting pleadings and motions.
• Provide legal advice and risk assessments to internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Member in good standing with the California State Bar.
• At least 3 years of insurance defense litigation experience, including trials.
• Knowledge of California civil procedure, insurance law, and relevant case law.
• Strong courtroom presence and effective case argument skills.
• Excellent legal writing, research, and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage caseload independently and work collaboratively.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with effective client interaction.
• Located in LA, San Bernardino, Riverside, or Orange County.
