The attorney will handle a diverse insurance defense caseload, provide strategic legal advice, and draft and negotiate essential documents within a high-performing firm on the Central Coast and Southern California.

• JD and active law license required.
• 5+ years of insurance defense litigation experience.
• Experience drafting and negotiating legal documents.
• Strong mediation and dispute resolution skills.
• Ability to explain complex legal concepts clearly to clients.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in a wide range of insurance defense matters, including complex litigation.
• Provide expert legal advice to clients on various aspects of insurance law and commercial litigation.
• Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents, ensuring compliance with current laws and regulations.
• Actively participate in dispute resolution processes, including mediation and negotiations.
• Develop and implement effective legal strategies to achieve optimal outcomes for clients.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes in insurance law and related areas.
• Provide legal consulting to clients, explaining complex legal concepts and scenarios in an understandable manner.
