Jobot seeks an Associate Attorney focusing on insurance defense to join our growing firm. Handle complex defense cases from inception through trial in a fast-paced environment. Strong negotiation skills and client-service commitment required.

Role offers remote options with competitive base salary and bonus plan. California bar admission and 4+ years civil defense experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the state bar of California.
• A minimum of 4 years of experience in civil litigation defense (ideally Insurance Defense).
• Proven experience in mortgage, banking, real estate and related fields like construction defect.
• Exceptional analytical skills and a strong attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Manage a caseload of complex insurance defense files from start to finish.
• Prepare and draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Conduct extensive legal research and analysis to support case preparation and strategy.
• Represent clients in court or before government agencies.
• Negotiate settlements for legal disputes on favorable terms.
• Develop defense strategies and litigate cases with the team.
• Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and staff to ensure high client service.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Stay updated on laws, regulations, and industry trends affecting clients.
