Jobot, a California-based insurance defense law firm, is seeking a fully remote Insurance Defense Attorney licensed in California. The role requires a JD, CA bar, and at least 5 years of insurance defense litigation experience.

You will handle a diverse caseload, draft and negotiate documents, and guide clients through disputes and mediations. The position offers a fully remote arrangement with salary between $125,000 and $200,000 per year, plus potential bonus and benefits.

Qualifications

• JD required from an accredited law school
• Current license to practice law in CA
• Minimum 5 years of insurance defense litigation experience
• Strong drafting/negotiation skills for legal documents
• Excellent mediation and litigation strategy abilities
• Strong client communication and professional ethics

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in a wide range of insurance defense matters, including complex litigation.
• Provide expert legal advice on insurance law and commercial litigation.
• Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents.
• Participate in dispute resolution processes, including mediation and negotiations.
• Develop and implement effective legal strategies for clients.
• Stay updated on changes in insurance law and related areas.
• Provide clear legal consulting to clients and explain complex concepts.
• Collaborate with a team to ensure high-quality legal service.
