The ideal candidate has a JD and NY bar, 3–7 years of post‑bar experience in defense or coverage, and deposition experience. This boutique firm offers large‑case work with institutional clients.

Qualifications

• JD and active New York bar (New Jersey a plus).
• 3–7 years post-bar insurance defense, construction, or coverage — current Associate, Counsel, or Partner.
• Depositions taken on liability files.

Responsibilities

• Defend construction defect, trucking, premises, and products claims in New York and New Jersey courts.
• Draft coverage positions and additional-insured / indemnity arguments on those same files.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Prepare cases for mediation and trial, including dispositive motions.
