CorroHealth, Inc. is seeking a remote Billing Specialist in the Hawaii Time Zone to resolve complex, high-dollar unpaid or denied claims using our proprietary software, calls, and client portals.

The role requires 5+ years in registration, billing, or collections, EMR experience (Epic/Cerner/Meditech), strong Excel skills, and the ability to work independently in a remote setting. Expect competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 5+ years of registration, billing or collections experience.
• 3+ years in insurance carrier claims resolution.
• Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, Meditech) preferred.
• Knowledge of UB-04, EOBs, ICD-9/10, CPT, HCPCS.

Responsibilities

• Resolve complex, high-dollar unpaid/denied claims using proprietary software and client portals.
• Identify trends in claims, such as CPT/HCPCS errors and missing charges.
• Perform financial account assessments including adjustments and rebills.
• Submit documentation, manage medical records, and assist patient outreach.
• Maintain familiarity with client preferences across multiple accounts.
