Job summary
CorroHealth Inc. is seeking a skilled claims specialist to resolve complex, high-dollar unpaid or denied claims using our proprietary software and client portals.
The role requires reviewing CPT/HCPCS trends, coding accuracy, and data integrity while supporting rebill and payment verification tasks. Qualified candidates have an HS diploma, 5+ years in billing/registration, 3+ years' experience with insurance claims resolution, and EMR familiarity (Epic/Cerner/Meditech).
Qualifications
- HS Diploma or equivalent
- 5+ years in registration, billing or collections
- 3+ years experience with insurance carrier claims resolution
- 3+ years of EMR experience preferred, Epic/Cerner/Meditech
- Knowledge of UB04, EOBs and medical records
- Strong numeric, Excel and data interpretation skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
Responsibilities
- Resolve complex, high-dollar unpaid/denied claims using proprietary software and health system portals.
- Identify trends such as CPT/HCPCS errors, duplicate claims, and mapping mismatches.
- Perform financial account assessments including adjustments and patient NRP.
- Complete rebill and claim submission tasks within client systems.
- Assist with medical record submissions and client document requests.
