OneOncology, LLC is seeking an Insurance AR Specialist to manage payer follow-ups, resubmissions, and patient invoicing. The role emphasizes accurate coding knowledge (HCPCS/ICD/CPT) and timely collections within oncology services, including proton and radiation therapy contexts.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years in medical collections, strong communication skills, and proficiency with MS Office and billing systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in medical collections, ideally in oncology healthcare.

Responsabilités

• Reviews and manages AR >60 days and EOBs within two weeks.
• Documents collection activity and maintains logs and reports.
• Contacts carriers; interviews and counsels patients on self-pay balances.
• Distributes information to other teams and escalates unusual accounts.
• Maintains HCPCS/ICD/CPT oncology coding knowledge and carrier requirements.
• Supports other departments to gather information for proper account work.
