The Atlantic District in Middletown, CT is seeking a motivated General Insurance Agent who will be the face of our agency, helping families protect what matters most. You will review policies, guide customers through coverage options, and build a trusted local network while delivering compassionate service.

With a Connecticut P&C license and a client-first mindset, you’ll collaborate with underwriters, maintain accurate records, and participate in ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Licensed in CT with a Property & Casualty license is required.
• Proven success in managing a sales pipeline and meeting production targets.
• Excellent verbal and written communication to explain policy details clearly.
• Proficient with MS Office and agency platforms.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in admin work.

Responsibilities

• Review existing policies to identify gaps and recommend solutions.
• Guide prospective customers through coverage options and explain limits and benefits.
• Maintain accurate client records in the agency database for seamless service.
• Develop and grow a network of local businesses and community contacts in Middletown.
• Collaborate with underwriting to ensure timely policy issuance.
• Attend professional development sessions to stay current with industry changes.
