Job summary

Alliant Insurance Services in Irvine, CA is seeking an experienced customer service and policy administrator to support assigned clients and policies within our Alliant Specialty division. You will manage renewals, coordinate with carriers, prepare proposals, and help grow existing business with attentive service.

The role involves reviewing coverage options, maintaining strong client relationships, and ensuring accuracy and timely processing to support retention and high client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 4+ years related work experience.
• Valid insurance license; must meet Continuing Education requirements for license renewal.
• Career Path requirements as communicated by Supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Creates marketing submissions and works with carriers to obtain quotes.
• May negotiate prices, commissions, and/or coverages with carriers.
• Reviews policies for accuracy and identifies deficiencies.
• Manages renewal process for expiring policies.
• Prepares presentations and proposals for clients.
• May participate in client meetings to review coverage.
• Researches requests for information from Underwriters.
• Composes correspondence to insureds and Underwriters.
• Discusses renewal and marketing strategy with Producer or Supervisor.
• Binds insurance coverage and prepares binders.
• Prepares certificate templates.
• Reviews certificate requests and ensures coverage gaps are addressed.
• Receives and develops new business leads and cross-sell opportunities.
• Fosters and manages client relationships with Producers for retention.
• Participates in the claims process as necessary.
• Notifies Brokers and Producers of pertinent information for retention.
• Collects fees, reconciles and resolves balances within 90 days.
