Job summary

Angelo State University is seeking an Instructional Designer to partner with faculty across disciplines to design accessible, engaging online and digitally enhanced courses that support student success. The role involves consultation, professional learning, and evidence‑based instructional design to align goals, assessments, activities, and materials.

You will create professional development resources, advise on Universal Design for Learning and accessibility, and contribute to course quality

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in instructional design, instructional technology, or a closely related field.
• Experience collaborating with faculty on course design, redesign, or course quality improvement.
• Experience in higher education instructional design and facilitating inclusive online courses.

Responsibilities

• Actively contribute to the Center’s daily operations, supporting faculty needs and delivering high‑quality service.
• Consult with faculty to plan, design, redesign, and evaluate online and technology‑enhanced courses.
• Create and deliver professional development opportunities and faculty resources related to course design and accessibility.
• Advise faculty on Universal Design for Learning, accessibility requirements, and open educational resources.
• Conduct course design reviews and contribute to quality assurance and continuous improvement.
