Job summary

The role collaborates with faculty to design blended, synchronous, and asynchronous learning, ensuring accessibility and compliance within the LMS and other digital resources. Strong emphasis on instructional design theory and project coordination.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in instructional design, educational technology, instructional technology, or related field preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a job-related field from a regionally accredited institution of higher education.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of job-related experience; instructional design, course management system administration, information technology project management, and higher education or public-school teaching experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Implements instructional design policies for online course creation and delivery using digital tools.
  • Meets with Instructional Technology staff and other academic areas to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Maintains compliance reports and data.
  • Develops curriculum guides for courses using multiple formats including print, graphics, audio, video, and animation technologies.
  • Provides training and support to faculty and students.
  • Collaborates with faculty on curriculum design and use of multimedia from inception to completion.
  • Assists faculty in developing and revising courses to meet accessibility standards.
  • Guides faculty to improve teaching methods and delivery technologies.
  • Supports Digital Accessibility standards as defined by the ATO.
