Humana Inc. is seeking an experienced Inpatient Medical Coding Auditor to review inpatient hospital claims for proper reimbursement, handling provider disputes in a results-driven setting. This remote role may require occasional travel to Humana offices for training or meetings.

The auditor analyzes records to ensure accurate DRG assignments and cost-effective payments. The position requires RHIA, RHIT or CCS certification, MS-DRG coding/auditing experience, and the ability to work independently

Formación

• RHIA, RHIT or CCS certification(s) required and held for at least 4 years.
• MS-DRG coding/auditing experience and inpatient claims read/interpretation.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; able to handle multiple priorities and maintain confidentiality.

Responsabilidades

• Review inpatient hospital claims for proper reimbursement and DRG assignments.
• Analyze and manipulate databases, respond to internal requests for medical information.
• Maintain accuracy and quality in coding in a remote work environment.
