About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Inpatient Medical Coder to join our remote team. In this role, you will review, analyze, and assign ICD-10-CM/PCS codes to inpatient medical records to ensure accurate billing and compliance with regulations.
Key Responsibilities:

• Review inpatient medical records and assign appropriate diagnosis and procedure codes.
• Ensure coding accuracy and compliance with official guidelines and payer requirements.
• Collaborate with clinical and billing teams to resolve documentation discrepancies.
• Maintain productivity and quality standards.
• Stay current with coding updates, regulations, and best practices.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Certification in CCA, CCS, CPC, CPC-A, RHIA, or RHIT.
• 5+ years of inpatient medical coding experience.
• Strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM/PCS and DRG assignment.
• Familiarity with EHR and coding software.
• Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.

Pay and Benefits:
The pay range is $25.00 - $28.00/hr. Benefits may include medical, dental, vision, 401(k), life insurance, disability, HSA, transportation benefits, EAP, PTO, and more, subject to eligibility and plan specifics.
