HCA Healthcare, Inc. is seeking a Work-from-Home Inpatient Coding Auditor to perform internal quality assessment reviews of Health Information Management Service Center coders, ensuring compliance with national guidelines and company policies for complete, accurate coding that supports proper reimbursement.

You will lead coding quality reviews, support adherence to guidelines, participate in special projects, and strive for 95% productivity and 95% accuracy while staying current with educational

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years acute care inpatient/outpatient coding experience preferred.
• RHIA, RHIT and/or CCS preferred.
• Experience with inpatient coding quality reviews.

Responsibilities

• Leads, coordinates and performs all functions of quality reviews for inpatient and/or outpatient coding across multiple HSCs.
• Assists in ensuring staff adherence with coding guidelines and policy.
• Demonstrates expert knowledge of medical coding practices and concepts.
