Job summary

The Duke Health Patient Revenue Management Organization is seeking a compliance professional to implement and maintain programs that reduce legal and financial risk through education and internal audits. This remote role supports the entire health system from a home office in Texas.

Responsibilities include educating providers on Medicare/Medicaid guidelines, conducting internal audits, identifying coding and billing risk areas, and collaborating with physicians and staff to improve

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; health information or compliance field preferred.
• RHIA, RHIT, CCS, CPMA certifications preferred.
• Four years of administrative experience in compliance, coding and auditing.

Responsibilities

• Educate providers on compliance with Medicare/Medicaid guidelines and policies.
• Identify coding and billing risk areas, perform focused reviews and audits.
• Collaborate with physicians and staff to improve documentation, coding and compliance.
• Review internal controls and policies to ensure regulatory compliance.
