Job summary

Parallon HCA Healthcare is seeking an experienced Inpatient Coding Auditor working from home. You will perform internal quality assessments of coders to ensure compliant, accurate coding for full reimbursement and data integrity.

The role requires inpatient facility coding experience, DRG validation, and a focus on 95% productivity and accuracy. Training and ongoing education are provided to support high standards and career growth.

Qualifications

• Previous inpatient/outpatient coding experience preferred.
• Experience auditing/monitoring coding accuracy.
• Strong knowledge of coding guidelines and policies.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coordinate and perform quality reviews for inpatient and/or outpatient coding across multiple HSCs.
• Ensure adherence to coding guidelines and policy by staff.
• Demonstrate expert level knowledge of medical coding practices and concepts.
• Participate in special reviews or projects.
• Maintain 95% productivity and 95% accuracy.
• Meet educational requirements per policy.
• Review data quality standards and coding guidelines to keep skills current.
