Job summary

HCA Healthcare is seeking a Coding Quality Audit Reviewer to work from home with a Monday-Friday day schedule. You will perform internal quality assessments on Health Information Management Service Center coders to ensure compliant, accurate coding and data integrity across the organization.

Responsibilities include leading reviews, ensuring adherence to guidelines, and maintaining high productivity and accuracy while staying current with coding policies and resources.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years acute care inpatient/outpatient coding experience preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years coding auditing/monitoring experience strongly preferred.
• RHIA, RHIT and/or CCS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leads, coordinates and performs all functions of quality reviews for inpatient and/or outpatient coding across multiple HSCs.
• Assists in ensuring HSC coding staff adherence with coding guidelines and policy.
• Demonstrates expert level knowledge of medical coding practices and concepts.
• Maintains or exceeds 95% productivity and accuracy standards.
• Reviews data quality standards, coding guidelines and policies to keep skills current.
