Qualifications

• Active RN license in state of residence.
• 1+ year of clinical nursing in an Acute Inpatient Hospital setting.
• 1+ year of Utilization Review using InterQual Guidelines.
• Proficiency in Windows, Excel, Outlook.
• Permanent residence in Eastern or Central Time Zone.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial and concurrent review of inpatient cases using InterQual criteria.
• Discuss plans-of-care with facility healthcare professionals.
• Collaborate with Medical Directors on utilization management.
• Contribute to care progression discussions with Clinical Services.
• Refer complex cases to downstream partners as needed.
• Apply clinical expertise in case discussions with teams.
• Identify delays in care and coordinate with MDs.
• Follow SOPs in end-to-end case management.
• Collect clinical information to assess alternate levels of care.
• Support timely discharge planning and team meetings.
• Maintain compliance with governing bodies.
