Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted RN license in state of residence.
• 3+ years of clinical nursing experience in acute inpatient or related settings.
• Experience with discharge planning and utilization management is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial and concurrent reviews of inpatient cases using evidence-based criteria.
• Discuss cases with facility staff to obtain plans of care and coordinate discharge planning.
• Collaborate with Medical Directors on utilization management and care progression.
• Identify delays in care and manage referrals to appropriate specialists.
• Maintain compliance with Federal, State and accreditation standards.
