Job summary

Vital Care Infusion Services is seeking a detail-oriented billing specialist to manage home infusion medical and pharmacy claims remotely. The role emphasizes accuracy, timely submissions, and reducing denial rates across multiple payers, with full-time remote work and a supportive team.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years home infusion billing and/or collections experience.
• High School Diploma + specialized training in intake, pharmacy/medical billing, and/or collections.
• Experience in an infusion suite setting is a plus.
• Remote work experience is a plus but not required.
• Detail oriented with post-billing and post-payment investigative experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create and submit medical, pharmacy and third-party claims accurately and timely.
• Resolve rejected electronic claims to enable current submissions.
• Maintain ready-to-bill delivery tickets and flag items that cannot be billed.
• Document activity in CareTend to ensure complete account records.
• Contribute billing expertise to training materials and procedures to improve efficiency.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
