Vital Care Infusion Services is hiring a Remote Home Infusion Billing Specialist to focus on collecting Home Infusion claims with accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to processes. You will identify revenue opportunities, improve collection rates, and reduce bad debt while maintaining strong customer relationships.

The role requires 2–5 years in home infusion billing/collections, a high school diploma, and comfort working remotely.

Qualifications

• Excellent communications skills in English; written and verbal.
• Proven understanding of billing and collection processes with payer types.
• Ability to review documentation, identify gaps, and take corrective action.
• Strong organization and record-keeping abilities.
• Proficient in MS Office and pharmacy software applications.

Responsibilities

• Review claims with outstanding balances and take actions to collect revenues.
• Follow up with insurers and patients to collect balances; use payer portals.
• Analyze denials, identify trends, and suggest process improvements to reduce DSO and bad debt.
• Verify insurance information, gather records, and file appeals per payer requirements.
• Communicate with franchise partners and other departments on collection status.
• Document activity in the system and schedule required follow-ups.
• Investigate and verify benefits for pharmacy and medical third-party claims.
• Explain costs and financial obligations to patients before therapy starts.
