Soleo Health is seeking a Billing Specialist to support our Specialty Infusion Pharmacy and work remotely in the USA. This role focuses on insurance and self-pay billing (excluding Medicare) and includes submitting electronic and paper claims and following up with clearinghouse vendors.

The ideal candidate has 2 years of home infusion billing experience, strong customer service skills, and solid knowledge of HCPCS coding and medical terminology.

Qualifications

• 2 years of home infusion billing experience required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of HCPCS coding and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit insurance and self-pay claims (excluding Medicare).
• Review claims pricing discrepancies based on updates to fee schedules.
• Create and submit secondary electronic pharmacy and medical claims.
• Bill manufacturer copays and input information into portals or paper billing.
• Monitor billing requirements per contracts with third party payers or government programs.
• Answer insurance/billing questions from branch staff and educate.
