Job summary

CACI International Inc. is seeking an Infrastructure/System Administrator for a remote role supporting Agile development.

You will design and manage AWS-based systems, install and maintain Linux and Windows servers, monitor performance, patching, and security, while building internal docs and procedures. The role requires a Secret clearance, a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, and 3+ years in infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance required.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant systems or infrastructure experience.
• Security+ certification.
• Proven experience as a System Administrator, Network Administrator, or similar role.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with databases, LAN/WAN networks, and patch management.
• Ability to understand, analyze, and document technical requirements.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Expertise with Windows and Linux operating systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and manage AWS-based systems and solutions.
• Install, configure, and maintain Linux and Windows servers.
• Monitor system performance and quickly troubleshoot issues.
• Protect and optimize IT infrastructure for efficiency and security.
• Assist with Windows and Linux server patching.
• Perform upgrades, IAVA patching, and maintain STIG compliance.
• Monitor production systems and ensure contract-aligned performance.
• Troubleshoot outages and system faults.
• Manage AWS cloud resources.
• Implement access controls, backups, and firewall protections.
• Build and maintain internal technical documentation, manuals, and policies.
