Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking an experienced Cybersecurity & IT Specialist to help government clients translate complex cyber risks into actionable plans. You will work with teams to translate threats into mitigation strategies, develop presentations, and guide clients through milestones.

You will translate security concepts for client decision making and support risk management through RMF reporting, IAVM knowledge, and security hardening across enterprise systems.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity, IT security, systems administration, or network engineering.
• Experience implementing and maintaining security controls across enterprise environments.
• Experience with vulnerability management, patching, and security hardening.
• Knowledge of IAVM program and eMASS for RMF reporting.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity and IT-related NIST SP.
• Knowledge of the security principles of Data-at-Rest and Data-in-Motion.
• TS/SCI clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems.

Responsibilities

• Identify and discover cyber risks for government clients and translate them into mitigation plans.
• Understand applicable policies and develop plans or strategy to reduce risk.
• Translate security concepts for client decision making through clear presentations and white papers.
• Guide clients through action plans with milestones and ongoing updates.
