Job summary

US Foods in Wilmington, DE, seeks an experienced information security leader to support the DigiTech value stream, ensuring security policies and best practices are followed while strengthening risk management and corporate resiliency.

You will partner with Security, audit, governance, and product teams to identify risks, guide roadmaps, and drive remediation in a remote-friendly environment with competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of information security experience.
• Broad knowledge across information and cyber security domains with emphasis on risk management and application security.
• Familiarity with PCI, HIPAA, SOX and security frameworks (NIST CSF, ISO 27001, CIS).
• Proven ability to work with leaders across the business and build relationships.
• Ability to independently make decisions aligned with security policies.
• Experience measuring cybersecurity risks, issues, and exceptions.
• Ability to present complex topics to senior technical leaders.
• Ability to influence and guide without formal authority.
• Experience in security compliance, vulnerability management, risk lifecycle, and governance processes.
• Strong integrity, curiosity, adaptability, and communication skills.
• Proactive in staying current with threats and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Consult on key business initiatives ensuring comprehensive end-to-end risk management.
• Help execute the security program with Value Stream partners by identifying and remediating risks.
• Understand business requirements and provide security guidance for decision making and roadmapping.
• Explain security needs and potential regulatory or cyber attack impacts to the line of business.
• Serve as the single security contact for the Value Stream and manage escalation of major concerns.
• Perform audits, assess risks, and drive remediation of issues from assessments and tests.
• Provide visibility into security compliance status with metrics and guidance on vulnerabilities.
• Present monthly to Value Stream Lead with gap analyses and remediation plans.
• Coach product teams to mature use of security tools and information.
• Articulate security impacts in strategy and roadmap discussions within Information and Cyber Security.
