Job summary

Trinet Group seeks an Information Technology Specialist to manage and secure our IT infrastructure. You will lead security strategy, risk assessments, and incident response while aligning with regulatory requirements across the enterprise.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in information security, strong leadership, and experience with GDPR, HIPAA, and ISO 27001. Remote work is currently supported for this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information security, or a related field.
• CISSP or CISM certification preferred.
• 5–10 years of experience in information security management.
• Deep understanding of information security principles, standards, and best practices.
• Experience with risk management, threat intelligence, and incident response.
• Experience with change management process.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with stakeholders.
• Experience managing security compliance with GDPR, HIPAA, ISO 27001.
• Knowledge of cloud, mobile, and IoT security trends.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement an enterprise-wide information security strategy aligned with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Establish information security policies, standards, and procedures to mitigate risks and safeguard data assets.
• Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability scans to identify threats and mitigation steps.
• Design and manage security controls to protect IT infrastructure, systems, and data.
• Monitor security incidents and coordinate response and recovery with stakeholders.
• Provide leadership to the information security team and foster continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with IT and business teams to embed security in SDLC and processes.
• Stay current with threats and best practices to improve security posture.
• Lead compliance efforts for GDPR, HIPAA, ISO 27001.
