Job summary

CardWorks Servicing, LLC is seeking an Information Security Engineer II to design, implement, monitor, and continuously improve information security controls protecting the Bank’s data, customers, and systems.

The role emphasizes incident response, SIEM operations, threat hunting, and log analysis, with collaboration across IT Security and audit teams. Travel to South Jordan, Utah weekly; full-time, 40 hours/week.

Qualifications

• Three years in Security Engineer/Analyst/Incident Responder or similar.
• Experience in Credit Card/Consumer Finance industry is required.
• Strong knowledge of security event monitoring, investigation and response.

Responsibilities

• Implement, operate, monitor, and improve security processes and systems.
• Perform security incident monitoring and response, including log analysis.
• Engineer, tune, and operate SIEM log sources and alerts in real time.
• Support security tools and services and assist audits/compliance.
• Coordinate with auditors and IT teams on evidence and controls.
• Travel to client/site as needed and comply with policies.
