Job summary

DEFCON AI in McLean, VA is seeking an Industrial Security Analyst / Facility Security Officer to scale its security program. The role ensures NISPOM compliance, manages PERSEC/OPSEC, and supports inspections and security documentation. The candidate will help mature security processes in a fast-paced defense tech environment.

Three days per week in the office is expected as part of a hybrid arrangement. The position requires active TS clearance and experience with industrial security in cleared

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 6+ years industrial security experience or equivalent combinations.
• Active U.S. Government Top Secret clearance with ability to access SCI/SAP.
• Strong knowledge of NISPOM and ICD security requirements.
• Experience with DD Form 254 and subcontractor security administration.
• Experience in cleared contractor environments and security systems.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day industrial security operations across PERSEC, OPSEC, and more.
• Ensure compliance with NISPOM, ICD requirements, and internal policies.
• Maintain readiness for DCSA and customer inspections and reviews.
• Conduct self-inspections and implement corrective actions.
• Manage personnel security requirements, including clearance actions and onboarding.
• Maintain security records in government systems and assist audits.
