Job summary

DEFCON AI in McLean, VA seeks an Industrial Security Analyst / FSO to scale our security program as classified work grows. You will ensure compliance with NISPOM, ICDs, and internal policies while supporting employees, leadership, and external security partners.

The role requires experience in cleared contractor environments and daily security operations across PERSEC, OPSEC, contract security, training, and investigations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 6+ years in industrial security or equivalent.
• Active U.S. Government Top Secret clearance with SCI/SAP access.
• Strong knowledge of NISPOM (32 CFR Part 117) and ICD security requirements.
• Experience in cleared contractor environment with security systems like NISS/DISS.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day industrial security operations across PERSEC, OPSEC, contract security, SETA, and visitor control.
• Ensure compliance with NISPOM, ICD, customer requirements and internal policies.
• Prepare for DCSA and customer inspections; lead corrective actions and process improvements.
• Support personnel security actions and maintain security records.
