Job summary

Jobgether, on behalf of a partner company, seeks an Industrial Power Systems Inspector based in the United States. You will evaluate safety, compliance, and reliability of electrical infrastructure across commercial, industrial, and mission-critical facilities, reviewing drawings and delivering actionable inspection reports.

This remote-based position requires 5+ years of hands-on power system experience, NEC/NFPA knowledge, arc flash assessment expertise, and the ability to communicate complex

Qualifications

• Licensed electrician (Master/Journeyman) preferred; electrical engineering degree with 2–3 years of relevant experience considered.
• Five+ years hands-on experience in industrial/commercial electrical power systems.
• Strong knowledge of NFPA, NEC, OSHA, IEEE standards and safety practices.
• Ability to read one-line diagrams, schematics and engineering drawings.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for reports and client liaison.
• NFPA CEI certification is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Perform industrial power system inspections to evaluate condition, reliability, and compliance.
• Review electrical documentation and verify field conditions against drawings.
• Assess code and safety compliance with NEC, NFPA, OSHA, IEEE standards.
• Conduct arc flash hazard assessments and review arc flash studies.
• Evaluate preventive maintenance and reliability of electrical equipment.
• Inspect critical power infrastructure including switchgear, UPS, batteries and gensets.
• Document findings with photos and actionable corrective recommendations.
• Explain results to clients and facility stakeholders in clear terms.
• Support risk mitigation and reliability improvements through technical insights.
• Maintain standardized inspection methodologies across diverse facilities.
