Alignerr is seeking an Incident Response Analyst for AI training on a remote, hourly contracted basis. You will analyze security events, evaluate AI-generated responses, and help shape detection and response workflows.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in SOC or IR, hands-on with SIEM platforms and investigation tooling, and excellent written communication. Flexible schedule and potential ongoing engagements offered.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in SOC, incident response, or security operations.
• Strong analytical and written communication skills.
• Able to work autonomously on a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Analyze realistic security events, alerts, and incident cases.
• Assess root cause and remediation for simulations and real scenarios.
• Review and validate detection rules and alerting pipelines.
• Identify gaps where AI diverges from real response workflows.
• Provide expert feedback to improve AI threat reasoning.
• Work independently on task-based assignments.
