Job summary

Alignerr is seeking an Incident Response Analyst (AI Training) to work with realistic security incident data and help improve how AI interprets alerts, correlates events, and supports digital investigations.

This fully remote role offers 10–40 hours per week on a freelance basis. You will apply 2+ years of SOC/incident response experience to assess threats, validate detection rules, and provide structured feedback that helps AI systems reason like seasoned responders.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of experience in SOC, incident response, or security operations.
• Hands-on familiarity with SIEM platforms, alert queues, and investigation tools.
• Ability to separate meaningful threats from background noise with analytical mindset.
• Clear written communication skills and attention to detail.
• No prior AI experience required; security expertise matters.

Responsibilities

• Analyze realistic security events, alerts, and incident cases.
• Assess impact, root cause, and appropriate remediation actions.
• Evaluate detection rules, alerting pipelines, and investigative playbooks.
• Review and rate AI-generated incident analysis for accuracy and relevance.
• Provide structured feedback to help AI systems reason like experienced responders.
