Job summary

Leidos is seeking an experienced Incident Response Analyst to support the DMDC CyberPRIMES program. The role investigates and responds to cybersecurity events affecting DHRA and DMDC systems, covering the full incident-response lifecycle from detection to recovery.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of cybersecurity experience, active Secret clearance, U.S. citizenship, and the ability to work at DoD facilities in California or Virginia. Salary ranges from $87,100 to $157,450.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of relevant cybersecurity experience.
  • Experience supporting cybersecurity incident response and SOC operations.
  • Experience analyzing cybersecurity events and determining appropriate actions.
  • Experience coordinating incidents across technical teams and stakeholders.
  • Experience documenting incident timelines, evidence, and status.
  • Ability to work after-hours incident response when required.

Responsibilities

  • Support preparation, detection, analysis, containment, eradication, recovery, and post-incident activities.
  • Investigate cybersecurity incidents affecting NIPRNet and SIPRNet environments.
  • Perform proactive security monitoring and analysis for intrusion attempts.
  • Analyze security information from SIEM, endpoint-security, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and related systems.
  • Coordinate eradication and recovery activities with system owners and technical teams.
  • Collect and preserve technical evidence and maintain incident records.
