Job summary

American Advanced Management in California seeks a corporate litigation attorney to serve as counsel of record for healthcare facilities under management. You will handle all phases of litigation from intake and pleadings through discovery, motions, and trial prep, with some corporate work.

Remote work may be possible with occasional travel, reporting to senior counsel and executive management. This in-house role requires a California State Bar license and 3–5 years of hands-on litigation

Qualifications

• California State Bar license required.
• 3–5 years of hands-on litigation experience.
• Admitted or capable of admission to all California Courts.
• Preferred experience in trial, arbitration, mediation, healthcare/patient collections, elder abuse, negligence.

Responsibilities

• Handle employment and business litigation defense from intake to trial preparation.
• Conduct internal investigations of active litigation and HR complaints.
• Draft contracts and prepare legal documents for executives and boards.
• Coordinate special projects and communicate with employees and management.
• Filing, researching, and preparing pleadings; read memos and reports to plan responses.
