CNT Foundations is seeking an in-house paralegal to work directly with Corporate Counsel at our North Charleston office, with flexibility to work remotely when the work allows. You will handle litigation discovery, liens, and contract records for homeowners, builders, and suppliers.

This role requires meticulous document management, timely filings, and coordinating with courts and vendors. You will gain full visibility into the lifecycle of matters, from signed contracts to final resolutions.

Formación

• Associate degree, bachelor’s degree, paralegal certificate, or equivalent.
• Paralegal experience with construction law, commercial litigation, real estate, insurance, or lien work preferred.
• Knowledge of civil litigation procedure and electronic filing.
• Able to read and organize construction records—contracts, change orders, schedules, plans, and payment records.
• Excellent writing and proofreading with attention to detail.
• Strong ability to manage competing deadlines without missing deadlines.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, PDF editing, document management, and e-discovery platforms.
• Able to work independently with sound judgment.

Responsabilidades

• Draft and format pleadings, motions, subpoenas, discovery, and correspondence for attorney review.
• Run discovery, organize documents, Bates-label productions, and maintain logs.
• Prepare deposition notebooks, witness files, and trial exhibits.
• Coordinate filing, service, hearings, and communication with courts and counsel.
• Maintain the calendar for court dates and deadlines.
• Prepare and track liens, collection matters, and contract records.
• Review and summarize project documents for Corporate Counsel.
• Gather documents from CNT teams, subcontractors, insurers, and experts.
• Schedule depositions, mediations, and other matter-related events.
