Job summary

Everforth Apex is seeking a field engineer to design and install in-building networks for broadband transmission. You will coordinate installations, assess multi-tenant buildings for compatibility, and lead large build projects to ensure timely planning and execution.

The role requires hands-on cabling (coax/Cat6a), ladder work, rooftop access, and strong customer-facing communication. A four-year degree or equivalent experience is preferred, with remote flexibility.

Qualifications

• Must have design/installation experience for in-building networks.
• Hazard identification and prevention experience.
• Knowledge of CATV termination points (terminals, pedestals).
• Hands-on testing/troubleshooting of coax and Cat6a Ethernet cabling.
• Must possess a vehicle to transport tools and equipment.
• Experience working on ladders (step/extension).
• Experience drilling in multi-dwelling/commercial buildings.
• Frontline experience working with customers/clients.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on design and install of equipment for transmitting broadband data in-building networks.
• Coordinate installation of new in-building networks or equipment.
• Evaluate multi-tenant buildings for network compatibility.
• Manage large build projects to ensure timely planning and implementation.
• Produce as-built technical documentation.
• Provide ad-hoc operational support for local field engineering and sales teams.
