Job summary

Everforth Apex is seeking a Network Specialist 4 for Altus AFB to install, configure, and maintain network services and devices. You will work with field engineers to simulate system performance and assist in security issue resolution, while supporting design documents and test procedures for projects of various sizes.

The role emphasizes on-call support, documentation, and collaboration across teams to meet strict SLA requirements and ensure reliable network operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or higher with extensive network experience.
• Knowledge of ITIL concepts and security implications for networks.
• Experience with routing/switching concepts and troubleshooting.
• Ability to read schematics, perform testing, and document results.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues and optimize performance.
• Install, configure, and maintain network services, equipment, and devices.
• Develop and execute test plans; document results and support commissioning.
• Support 24/7 on-call schedule and assist other engineers as needed.
