Job summary

MPHI is seeking an Immunization Epidemiologist to join our Michigan team working remotely from Michigan. You will analyze MCIR data, develop dashboards, and provide reports to support immunization programs and disease surveillance nationwide.

The role requires a master’s degree in public health or related field, plus 2+ years in epidemiology or program evaluation. Strong skills in SAS, R, Excel, and data visualization are essential.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in public health, epidemiology, health informatics or biostatistics.
• Preferred two years' experience in epidemiology, project management, and research/evaluation methods.
• Experience with SAS, R, and MS Excel; data visualization with Power BI or Tableau.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, interpret, and disseminate data from MCIR to identify immunization gaps and generate reports.
• Collaborate on data quality in MCIR and related systems.
• Disseminate findings at conferences, seminars, and other forums; publish as needed.
• Collaborate with organizations and researchers using MCIR data.
• Analyze immunization data from additional sources (BRFSS, Medicaid, etc.).
• Develop summaries for annual immunization surveys at national, regional, and state levels.
• Prepare for speaker engagements and CDC site visits; participate in grant activities.
• Maintain professional relationships across MPHI and MDHHS teams.
