Immigration Lino Callao, LLC is a local Montgomery County, MD, immigration law firm specializing in family immigration, humanitarian relief, and removal defense. We have a great opportunity for an experienced paralegal who needs flexibility to join our firm in a remote capacity.

Immigration Paralegal/ Legal Assistant Responsibilities and Expectations:

• Communicate with clients in Spanish and English
• Manage client case files and deadlines
• Prepare client affidavits
• Collect and organize supporting documentation and prepare USCIS legal forms
• Assist with removal defense filings and motions
• Assist with visa petitions and applications
• Analyze case documents

Basic Qualifications:

• Prior work experience as an immigration paralegal or legal assistant
• Knowledge of immigration benefits, such as: visa petitions, status adjustments, consular processing, citizenship, and/or waivers
• Spanish Language fluency
• Has home-office setup

Job Type: Part-Time 1099 Position (with potential for full-time)

Compensation:

• 24$ - 30$ hour
• 5% commission on total contract price for any eligible work you bring into the firm

Schedule:

• Flexible
• Up to 20-40 hours per week
• No weekends required
