Job summary

enGen is seeking an Imaging Systems Administrator to ensure the optimal performance, integrity, and compliance of medical imaging systems. The role supports clinical environments, image viewing, interpretation, and data exchange across EMR, RIS, PACS, and related interfaces.

The position involves active participation in project management, vendor relations, and continuous improvement of imaging workflows and technologies, ensuring seamless data exchange and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience with imaging systems (PACS, RIS, EMR) and vendor coordination.
• Knowledge of DICOM and HL7 standards.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and comply with healthcare regulations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain optimal imaging environment and ensure image quality.
• Monitor interfaces to EMR, RIS, PACS, and voice recognition systems.
• Participate in project lifecycle, document deliverables and testing plans.
• Manage vendor relations and budgeting for imaging projects.
• Ensure compliance with federal regulations and imaging standards (DICOM, HL7).
