micro1 seeks an Imagery Analyst to contribute to AI/ML training data by annotating drone and maritime imagery. This contractor role supports high-impact projects; prior AI experience is not required, only domain knowledge and accuracy.

You will review machine-generated boxes, annotate missed objects, ensure labeling consistency, and deliver images in a Navy-secure environment. Strong attention to detail and clear communication are essential.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a DoD CAC (Common Access Card).
• Strong attention to detail and consistency on repetitive tasks.
• Experience with data labeling or bounding box annotation.
• Familiarity with aerial, maritime, or sensor imagery, daylight/thermal formats.

Responsibilities

• Review and refine machine-generated bounding boxes for accuracy on still imagery from drone and maritime sensors.
• Identify and annotate objects missed by AI models.
• Label data maintaining consistency and adherence to provided guidelines.
• Deliver completed annotated images within a secure Navy environment.
• Maintain steady, reliable throughput of completed images; compensation is based on each image submission.
• Transition to annotation of video frames as the project evolves and expands in scope.
• Document and communicate ambiguous cases or guideline questions clearly, showing strong written and verbal communication.
