Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) seeks an ICAM IdP Engineer to support enterprise authentication services for the DoD. The role focuses on designing, integrating, operating, and maintaining IdP capabilities with federation across DoD identities.

This fully remote position offers growth in ICAM technologies, exposure to ADFS, SAML, OAuth/OIDC, MFA, and Zero Trust programs while collaborating with senior engineers on mission-critical systems.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in IAM/ICAM-related tech.
• Experience with enterprise identity platforms and federation.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and sustain IdP services for millions of DoD users.
• Administer and maintain ADFS infrastructure for authentication and federation.
• Configure federation trust relationships with IdPs and SPs.
• Implement and troubleshoot SAML, OAuth 2.0, OIDC, WS-Federation, certificate-based auth.
• Onboard and integrate applications into identity/federation ecosystem.
• Develop and maintain authentication policies, claims, mappings, and token configs.
• Support SSO, MFA, Conditional Access, phishing-resistant authentication.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity, cloud, and app teams to deliver secure services.
• Contribute to Zero Trust Architecture objectives.
