Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) seeks an ICAM Identity Provider (IdP) Engineer to support enterprise authentication services for millions of DoD identities. The onsite role focuses on designing, integrating, and maintaining IdP solutions with SSO and MFA across the DoD federation ecosystem.

The candidate will work with senior engineers, implement modern authentication protocols, and contribute to Zero Trust and identity modernization initiatives within a large government

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in IAM, authentication, or ICAM-related technologies.
• Experience supporting Microsoft ADFS in enterprise environments.
• DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level II certification (Security+ CE or higher).

Responsibilities

• Design, configuration, and sustainment of enterprise IdP services used by DoD users.
• Administer and maintain Microsoft ADFS infrastructure for authentication and federation.
• Configure federation trust relationships with IdPs, SPs, and mission partners.
• Implement and troubleshoot authentication using SAML, OAuth 2.0, OIDC, WS-Federation, and certificate-based methods.
• Collaborate to onboard applications and define token issuance configurations.
• Support SSO, MFA, Conditional Access, and phishing-resistant authentication mechanisms.
