Job summary

OnTrac is seeking a Staff Security Platform Engineer (IC5) for a contractor program to support a critical customer engagement. This role emphasizes hands-on backend work, policy platform integrations, and setting technical direction for a small delivery team.

Expect collaboration with a customer tech lead to ensure high-quality delivery from definition to final integration. The ideal candidate will lead design discussions, review code, and translate customer requests into scoped engineering work

Qualifications

• Backend experience with Golang required.
• Strong data modeling with MongoDB and Snowflake.
• Experience with AWS cloud services.
• Ability to design and lead integrations for a policy platform.
• Clear communication with customer stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day backend integration work and policy platform use cases in Golang against MongoDB, Snowflake, and AWS-hosted services.
• Own technical design for assigned integrations from definition through delivery; document decisions for the customer and delivery teams.
• Adhere to customer standards for code review, testing, and deployment practices.
• Provide technical direction and perform code reviews for other engineers on the engagement.
• Onboard quickly and begin contributing to integration work early in the engagement; communicate progress and blockers promptly.
